Hollie Doyle lit up Wolverhampton on Thursday evening with a 681-1 four-timer.

Doyle, who won her first Royal Ascot race last month on Scarlet Dragon, was in imperious form around the Tapeta course at Wolverhampton, winning with four of her six rides and finishing second on the other two.

The 23-year-old started her evening on a winning note on Savalas (4-1) and followed up with subsequent victories on Deftera Lad (100-30), Grace Plunkett (7-2) and Red Archangel (6-1), with the last two coming for trainer Richard Spencer.

Speaking to Sky Sports Racing, Doyle said: "It's been a good evening. I think I've had a four-timer before, but it's good when you have days like this.

"I'm getting plenty of rides and plenty of opportunities so things are going great and hopefully continue.

"I was a bit worried during lockdown, would things pick up from where I left off? If anything, things have been a bit better for me since. I'm just very lucky at the moment."

The four-timer takes Doyle to 23 wins for the season, ten behind early jockeys' championship leader and defending champion Oisin Murphy.
