It is getting to that time of year when racing is glad to have the all-weather and it dominates Friday's action in Britain and Ireland with three meetings.

Kempton hosts the latest fast-track qualifier for the Good Friday finals on an afternoon card while Wolverhampton and Dundalk provide the traditional end to racing on a Friday, albeit with Dundalk now on Racing TV.

Lingfield is the sole jumps meeting of the day after passing an inspection on Friday morning.

Wetherby seems to be busier than ever this winter, providing the jumping action again in Yorkshire for the eighth time in two months and there's two more meetings to come there this month.

What to watch

George Scott enjoyed a ground-breaking first win at Meydan on Thursday so why not check out his Masterminded answers from last year.

Scott's winning owner and Southampton striker Charlie Austin, who is in the news for his gesture after being substituted against Manchester City in his Premier League match on Sunday, also took the challenge.

The best of Racing Post Sport

It's that fairytale time again with the third round of the FA Cup and Tottenham travel to Tranmere on Friday night to kick off the weekend action. Liam Flin has a bet for the tie.

Final thought

Could it be a case of double double vision at Kempton on Friday afternoon? Mercers won two races in four days at the start of last year and, after ending 2018 with a win at Lingfield, she runs in the 2.10 at Kempton after another four-day interval.
