Everybody has a favourite Frankel performance and one of the 14 victories often put forward as his greatest is his scintillating success in the Juddmonte International five summers ago.

Frankel achieved his joint-highest official rating of 140 as he slammed the likes of Farhh and St Nicholas Abbey by seven lengths on what was his first attempt over a trip further than a mile.

The superstar's presence at any racecourse created a rare buzz during those days and it was no different at York, as packed grandstands watched Frankel make an initially sluggish start as the stalls opened.
