Victory in today's Juddmonte International for Aidan O'Brien would mean the Ballydoyle maestro setting a new British prize-money record.

John Gosden set the record last season with £5,300,553, but O'Brien is poised to eclipse that as he has already amassed £4,980,201 before the start of York's Ebor meeting.

With Idaho odds-on for the Betway Great Voltigeur Stakes, O'Brien could pass the £5m mark before the International, and should he not win the Group 1 Juddmonte for a record sixth time he has plenty of other chances over the four days.
