Can anything beat Palace Pier in the Queen Anne?

Pat Cooney, bet365 I can make a decent case for saying Palace Pier may well be the best horse in the world so I fully expect him to win this. I'd like to see him run and win over further next time to enhance his global standing.

Barry Orr, Betfair Yes. Lope Y Fernandez, each-way, is the bet for me. You can disregard his last run in the Lockinge as the ground had gone for him and Ryan Moore didn't knock him about once it became apparent he wasn’t going to trouble the principles. Faster ground at Ascot, something which is not sure to suit the favourite, and a strong pace will suit him.

Andrew Griffiths, Betfred He's a fair way clear on ratings, so will need to underperform if one of his rivals is going to upset the applecart. He hasn't run on genuinely fast ground, so that's what punters will have to weigh up if wading in at odds-on. Lope Y Fernandez loves to hear his hooves rattle and appeals at a price.
