Wesley Ward has won this three times, and despite having to send Lady Pauline home he still has six unbeaten entries. The betting points to Anna's Fast and Kimari as his likeliest representatives, but whichever he nominates has to be feared.
Charlie Appleby has had to rule out ante-post favourite Chasing Dreams, but the Godolphin silks, which have never been successful here, will still be carried by two strong contenders in Saeed Bin Suroor's Final Song, who made a big impression when a wide-margin winner over the course and distance last month, and Willie McCreery's Listed Curragh winner Ickworth.
