Royal Ascot: ITV Racing Tips
Racing Post experts pick their best bet for the day for the first day of Royal Ascot in a bid to help you find more winners.
Queen Anne Stakes (1.50) – CIRCUS MAXIMUS
Circus Maximus has been rock solid since fitted with blinkers and his record in European Group 1s over a mile reads 121 and he also made the frame at the Breeders' Cup. Trained by Aidan O'Brien, he should go close so long as he retains his enthusiasm in the headgear.
Duke of Cambridge Stakes (4.10) – QUEEN POWER
Did well to get so close to Terebellum in the Dahlia at Newmarket considering she was keen and it was hard to come from off the pace.
Winner is second favourite for the Queen Anne, so it's a surprise Queen Power is quite as big as she is for this contest. She has run this track well in the past and may prove very well suited by the drop to a mile.

Royal Ascot: ITV7 Tips
The ITV7 competition is back for every day of Royal Ascot and is completely free to play. The Racing Post experts make their selections for the competition.
Race 1 – 1.50 Ascot
Slight preference is for MOHAATHER, who ran creditably in the Queen Elizabeth II here last autumn and could still have lots more improvement in him.
Race 2 – 2.25 Ascot
The Ralph Beckett-trained TREFOIL may be the answer this year. The selection's reappearance effort is solid Listed form and she ought to improve further.
Race 3 – 2.40 Thirsk
The suggestion is THE BIG HOUSE who won over C&D last summer and arrives here on the back of a creditable reappearance on AW 15 days ago. Scorched Breath has been knocking on the door on AW for Rebecca Menzies and should also have a part to play if proving as effective on turf.
Race 4 – 3.00 Ascot
This could go to PAPA POWER who has won minor 1m2f AW races the last twice with bundles in hand and is an exciting prospect for 2,000 Guineas-winning trainer Andrew Balding.
Race 5 – 3.35 Ascot
As ever, this is all about BATTAASH. His defeats here in 2018 and 2019 were still strong efforts that deserve viewing leniently; he goes well fresh and rates the one to beat.
Race 6 – 4.10 Ascot
JUBILOSO was thirdin last year's Group 1 Coronation Stakes at this meeting, the strongest piece of form in the line-up, and she remains open to further improvement for Sir Michael Stoute who has won this race four times.
Race 7 – 4.40 Ascot
Ian Williams won this last year and can repeat the feat with BLUE LAUREATE, who will relish today's test of stamina, is versatile ground-wise and run well at Ascot previously.
