Blue Point, Battaash and Mabs Cross, last year's 1-2-3 in the King's Stand Stakes, will renew rivalry as they head 12 declarations for the 5f Group 1 contest on the opening day of Royal Ascot.

The Charlie Hills-trained Battaash, an emphatic winner of the Temple Stakes at Haydock last month, will be partnered by Jim Crowley and is the 2-1 favourite to claim a second victory at the top level.

Stablemate Equilateral, a neck second to Mabs Cross at Newmarket last time, represents owner Khalid Abdullah.

The Charlie Appleby-trained Blue Point, who finished a length and three-quarters in front of Battaash in last year's race, will bid for a second Group 1 win of the year after his Al Quoz Sprint victory in March.

Mabs Cross, last seen finishing third behind Battaash at Haydock, will be ridden by Paul Mulrennan, while Aidan O'Brien, who has yet to win this contest, is represented by last year's Coventry third Sergei Prokofiev and Cheveley Park Stakes scorer Fairyland.

Signora Cabello, last year's Queen Mary winner, is the mount of Oisin Murphy for trainer John Quinn. She wears blinkers for the first time.

Completing the line-up is the Michael Pitman-trained Enzo's Lad, American raider Imprimis, Judicial, Houtzen and Soldier's Call.
