Record-breaker Stoute pinpoints Rawdaa as leading hope in Duke of Cambridge

Sir Michael Stoute had four winners at Royal Ascot last year and pinpointed Rawdaa in the Duke of Cambridge as his best chance of adding to his record number of 79 winners at the meeting next week.

Frankie Dettori takes the ride for the first time on the four-year-old, a top-priced 4-1 for Wednesday's Group 2 who was last seen finishing a neck behind Lah Ti Dar in the Group 2 Middleton Stakes at York.

"Rawdaa, who Frankie rides in the Duke of Cambridge, is in good shape and goes there with a big chance," Stoute said.

The trainer kicks off the meeting in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes with Mustashry, who will be reopposing many of those he accounted for when recording his first win at the highest level in the Lockinge at Newbury last month.

"We were thrilled by Mustashry at Newbury and he's come out of that in good form," Stoute said. "It's handy that he goes on any ground so conditions on Tuesday won't bother him and we're hopeful."

Jubiloso is set to clash with dual-1,000 Guineas winner Hermosa in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes on Friday. The daughter of Shamardal is unbeaten in her two starts and is 4-1 second favourite for the mile contest which Stoute has won four times previously.

Stoute said: "Being second favourite won't make her run any faster and this is a big step up from a maiden and a novice but she's a classy filly. The question is if this is too much too soon for her. I can't predict if we are going to beat Hermosa but we'll give it a go."
