Frankly Darling spearheads a powerful opening-day Royal Ascot team for in-form John Gosden, who says he is on a fact-finding mission with the hot favourite for the Ribblesdale Stakes.

The daughter of Frankel is many people's idea of an Ascot banker after she broke her maiden in scintillating fashion on day one of racing's resumption at Newcastle and she is the general 7-4 favourite to extend the trainer's good record in the Group 2 contest.

Frankly Darling could well be on her way to the rescheduled Oaks if she can follow up at Ascot for Gosden, who before racing on Saturday had notched 24 winners from 78 runners since the resumption.
