As a racehorse Frankel achieved grades similar to a child who finished its GCSE maths exam within 15 minutes and spent the rest of the session jotting down decimals of Pi. But how would you mark him in his test as a stallion?

The statistics lean towards straight As, with Group 1 scores already into double-figures from around the world, and a succinct supplementary answer has just been provided by Anapurna becoming his first European Classic winner in the Investec Oaks.
