After two incredible days, get clued up for day three of Punchestown

If you've had a bad day at work, the last thing you usually want to hear is 'there's always tomorrow'. Sometimes, though, it works out just right. Just look at Paul Townend.

After a Tuesday to forget, Townend had a Wednesday to remember with three winners at Punchestown as part of a six-timer for boss Willie Mullins.

Today he rides Penhill, who goes for the Cheltenham-Punchestown double in the Ladbrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle (5.30). Mullins also has outstanding claims in the Ryanair Novice Chase (6.40) with Racing Post Arkle winner Footpad.

Perth's festival continues as the main meeting in Britain, with supporting action at Warwick and Kempton. Beverley is on the turf in the afternoon, with Chelmsford providing the evening Flat action.
