Queen Enable in her pomp as she puts sparkling final touches to Arc preparation

Enable may have taken longer to get to her pomp this year but she would appear to be approaching it just in time for the most important race of her life in Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

Although similar sentiments were probably issued before last year's Arc, 12 months on it would be hard to say that the 11-time Group 1 winner has regressed in terms of ability in any way at home since then.

On Wednesday morning, the six-year-old bid farewell to the Newmarket working grounds with a fitting fanfare when she and Frankie Dettori were under the scrutiny of film cameras.
