Improving Blair House captures Group 1 Jebel Hatta
Godolphin’s Blair House followed up his success in the AZIZI Victoria handicap by landing the Group 1 Jebel Hatta – which is run over the same course and distance – he was ridden by James Doyle for Charlie Appleby on Meydan's Super Saturday.
Most of the 11 runners held a winning chance at some stage of the race with Godolphin’s Benbatl, trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, finally seeing off Janoobi for second, in a driving finish.
Of Blair House, Doyle said: “He won well for me three weeks ago and we knew arrived here in great form. It was a big step up in class but one we felt he deserved and he did it well.
