'I hope on Sunday we get a shot' - Beckett prepares top squad for Longchamp trip
Ralph Beckett believes Kinross has unfinished business in the Qatar Prix de la Foret (5.00) as the trainer prepares to saddle leading contenders in three of Sunday’s Group 1s.
While Westover heads Beckett’s assault on Paris in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, for which the Irish Derby winner is a general 9-1 shot, it is Kinross who potentially holds the strongest claims of landing a Group 1 for the stable with the five-year-old the 6-4 favourite for the 7f Foret.
Owned by Marc Chan, Kinross has won his last two starts in the Group 2 City Of York and Group 2 Park Stakes, as well as being placed on his two other starts over 7f this season.
