You can be sure Gordon Elliott and his team celebrated being crowned the leading stable at the Cheltenham Festival last season, but it's not something that would have been dwelt upon either.

Since Elliott set up in 2006, his ambition has been to get bigger and better with every passing year, and before this year's festival the 39-year-old admits he has assembled one of his best squads yet.

"Last year was brilliant but it's all about this year with us," Elliott said. "You need to concentrate on the present.
