Henrietta Knight sees shades of Best Mate in superstar novice Envoi Allen
Plenty of horses took my eye and I would have included Rouge Vif and Santini if I could, but the aim of the game is to find ten – you can't have them all.
I love Monkfish. His victory in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle looks very strong form, he's an enormous horse and is a really exciting novice staying chaser.
The performance of Shishkin at Cheltenham was very impressive. I am glad they have decided to go novice chasing with him, while Envoi Allen is a fantastic jumper and barely met a fence wrong at Down Royal. He reminds me of Best Mate, because fences just come to him.

I've put in Lostintranslation because he's a spectacular jumper. He gets it so right and Robbie Power said he's one of the best jumpers he's ever ridden. He ran extremely well in the Cheltenham Gold Cup having been off for a while with his wind.
I was impressed with Minella Indo the other day. I love Rachael Blackmore's riding style and think Henry de Bromhead's horses jump so well. Nothing could take away from how well Greaneteen ran in the Haldon Gold Cup either. He's progressive and will stay further.
I'm a big fan of the sire Getaway, and his son The Big Breakaway has a big future. I loved him as a hurdler and I will be excited to see him over a fence as that looks to be his game.
Nicky Richards' Ribble Valley has done nothing wrong and is set for the Fighting Fifth Hurdle. He could pick up some decent hurdle races throughout the season.
I think Embittered has a decent race in him. He's by Fame And Glory, who I liked as a sire and his horses tend to take a bit of time but I believe he will win a decent race.
His stablemate Fakir D'Oudairies is definitely a two-and-a-half to three miler. He races and jumps like a stayer and wants very soft ground.
