Seven declared for all-star Juddmonte International
Wednesday's Group 1 Juddmonte International, the highlight of the opening day of the Ebor festival, will be the stage for the latest round in the rivalry between Barney Roy and Churchill.
The pair featured among a final field of seven for the race on Monday, and the 1m2½f test offers Churchill the opportunity to rebuild his reputation after being beaten at Royal Ascot.
Having defeated Barney Roy in the 2,000 Guineas, Churchill then secured the Irish equivalent, before suffering the first defeat of his career since making his debut when fourth behind Richard Hannon's runner in the St James's Palace Stakes.
The pair will take each other on again, with Aidan O'Brien also declaring Derby runner-up Cliffs Of Moher.
Shutter Speed, representing John Gosden is the other three-year-old to be declared. The filly lost her unbeaten record last time out when fourth behind Senga in the Prix de Diane.
Eclipse winner Ulysses, Decorated Knight and My Dream Boat complete the field.
No Capri in Great Voltigeur
Aidan O'Brien had warned on Sunday that Capri was not a certainty to line up in the Betway Great Voltigeur Stakes after a dirty scope, and the Irish Derby winner did not feature in the final field.
Stablemates Spanish Steps and Venice Beach will represent O'Brien, while Cracksman, who was narrowly defeated by Capri at the Curragh, will line up for John Gosden.
