'These people are mega' - Frost enjoys warmest of receptions for timely winner
It is all about the timing, and the contrast between the scene at High Holborn and a busy Warwick racecourse was rather stark at 12.15pm.
As the seven runners headed out on the track for the opener at the West Midlands venue, the racing world – and the many onlookers from further afield – were none the wiser about the verdict in the independent disciplinary hearing on bullying claims against Robbie Dunne by fellow rider Bryony Frost.
Frost was one of the seven on horseback for the 2m juvenile maiden hurdle, leaving the paddock to make her way to the start aboard Graystone, trained by a longtime supporter of the rider in Lucy Wadham.
