Breeders' Cup dream for Alice Haynes as Lady Hollywood collects Prix d'Arenberg

Alice Haynes was on hand to celebrate the first Group-race success of her career as Mickael Barzalona made virtually all aboard Lady Hollywood to land the Prix d'Arenberg.

Travelling clearly agrees with the daughter of Havana Grey, who took Listed honours at Naas in July and was clearly suited by the return to a sharp five furlongs after running down the field in the Lowther at York.

"She's a fast filly and she broke well, so Mickael let her get into her stride and then she finished well," said Haynes.

"This is a first Group winner for the team back home. I think she's a filly who will probably end up going to the Breeders' Cup."

Having proved five furlongs is her trip the target at Keeneland will be the Juvenile Turf Sprint, and Haynes is minded not to go to the well in between after Lady Hollywood's seventh run of the season.

Haynes said: "She's had enough racing and she's a filly who doesn't take too much work so she'll have a little break now. It's very exciting.

"This is my first proper season training. We've had a Listed winner with this filly and now a Group winner. It's unbelievable for a small team like ours.

"We've got 40 horses at home and so to come abroad and get a result like this is huge."

Lady Hollywood carries the purple silks of Amo Racing and Haynes is one of a number of young trainers to have been sent horses by Kia Joorabchian's burgeoning operation.

"It's nice to get this for them," said Haynes. "They've supported me and I would like to think that I'm paying them back."

Lady Hollywood had a length and a quarter in hand over the consistent Vicious Harry, with the Michael Bell-trained Kerindia in third.
