Charles Oliveira puts his lightweight belt on the line against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274 while strawweight champion Rose Namajunas takes on Carla Esparza on an intriguing card in Phoenix.

Oliveira beat number one-ranked Dustin Poirier last time out and is riding a ten-fight win streak, going 11-1 since returning to lightweight in 2017.

It's Gaethje's second shot at the title, having lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov via submission at UFC 254, and that defeat could offer clues as to how this weekend's bout will play out.

Brazil's Oliveira boasts an incredible 19 victories via submission and that probably offers his best route to glory against a formidable striking opponent.

The co-main event offers strawweight champion Namajunas the chance to earn some revenge over Esparza.

Esparza beat Namajunas to win the inaugural strawweight championship in 2014 but Thug Rose has improved vastly since that meeting.

Redemption should be on the cards for the current champion and it's likely that she will get the job done inside five rounds.

There's another interesting lightweight contest earlier on the main card as number five Michael Chandler and seven-ranked Tony Ferguson square off.

Former Bellator champion Chandler has lost his last two trips to the Octagon while Ferguson is riding a three-fight losing streak.

At 38, Ferguson's best years are firmly behind him and Chandler's power should get him back on the winning trail.
