What is the PDC Home Tour?

The PDC announced a new event to keep sport rolling during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Home Tour event starts on Friday April 17 and will be streamed on bookmaker websites and features a host of big names.

Each session starts at 7.30 and will see four stars do battle in nightly round-robin groups which are played over the best-of-nine legs. The 32 group winners will progress through to the next phase.

The PDC Home Tour action continues apace and Group 12 looks an intriguing puzzles for punters to decipher.

Germany's Max Hopp is the next top-32 player hoping to avoid an early exit from a tournament full of upsets but he faces stiff competition.

Conan Whitehead, Mike De Decker and Keegan Brown are all capable opponents in with a realistic chance of winning the section.

Brown is ranked only seven places below Hopp, although his time on the oche has been limited as he helps with the NHS's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 27-year-old combines playing darts with a role as blood laboratory assistant and has almost doubled his hours at the Isle of Wight's only hospital during the crisis.

A chance is taken on Belgium ace De Decker, who has a strong record against group favourite Hopp and who has beaten a number of decent players in floor events in 2020, including Group Nine winner Martijn Kleermaker and 2017 BDO World Championship runner-up Danny Noppert.
