Bournemouth returned to the Championship summit by taking six points from their last two games of 2021 and they can keep up their promotion charge with a win over mid-table Luton.

Most of the Cherries' first-choice players have had an extended break after Scott Parker made ten changes for last Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie at Yeovil.

Parker's second string triumphed 3-1 over their National League hosts and his first 11 should be ready to perform at a high level at Kenilworth Road.

Bournemouth were worthy 1-0 winners at QPR on their last Championship road trip and they are likely to have too much for the 16th-placed Hatters, who are starting to slip away from the playoff picture.

Luton are unlikely to be sucked into the relegation scrap but they have taken just one point from the last three home games and their sticky patch on home soil is set to continue.
