Norwich believe they have landed a bargain with the capture of winger Aidan Fitzpatrick from Partick.

Fitzpatrick turned 18 in March this year but had a promising season for Partick, scoring seven goals in all competitions.

He has featured for Scotland at Under-17 and Under-18 levels but may need to wait a while for his Premier League debut.

Filip Krovinovic

Benfica to West Brom, Loan

Attacking midfielder Filip Krovinovic has struggled for game time at Benfica and will be hoping to be more involved in the Sky Bet Chamionship.

The Croatian began his career at NK Zagreb and should be well known to West Brom's new manager Slaven Bilic.

Krovinovic won 11 caps for the Croatia Under-21s but has not featured for the seniors.

Stephen Henderson

Nottingham Forest to Crystal Palace, Free

Crystal Palace lost an experienced goalkeeper at the end of last season with Julian Speroni's retirement and have plugged the gap with the acquisition of 31-year-old Irish keeper Stephen Henderson.

But Eagles fans might not get to see much of Henderson, who is likely to be behind Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita in the pecking order.

Henderson hadn't featured for Forest since the 2016-17 season.

David Raya

Blackburn to Brentford, Undisclosed

Brentford needed a goalkeeper after the departure of Daniel Bentley to Bristol City and they have plugged the gap quickly by signing David Raya from Blackburn.

Raya has been a regular for Rovers for the last two seasons. His quick reflexes saved them plenty of points but there are question marks over his decision-making, particularly when coming for crosses.

Ralf Fahrmann

Schalke to Norwich, Loan

Norwich have recruited some excellent players from German football and will be hoping to pulled off another good deal by loaning Ralf Fahrmann from Schalke.

Fahrmann was Schalke's number one for most of the last five years but lost his place towards the end of last season.

He won one cap for Germany's Under-21s but has never featured for the senior side.

Bambo Diaby

Lokeren to Barnsley, Undisclosed

Barnsley had a big hole to fill at centre-back after the sales of Liam Lindsay and Ethan Pinnock to Stoke and Brentford and have swooped for 21-year-old Senegalese Bambo Diaby.

A stiff learning curve is ahead for Diaby, who played 17 games for Lokeren in the Belgian top flight last season.

He was previously on the books at Sampdoria but failed to make an appearance for the Serie A side.

Jorge Grant

Nottingham Forest to Lincoln, Undisclosed

Jorge Grant was once thought of as a bright prospect by Nottingham Forest but has not quite matched expectations and, aged 24, he has decided to drop down a level to get his career back on track.

Grant showing his goalscoring qualities across two loan spells at Notts County, scoring 21 goals in 62 games, but hasn't made much of an impact outside Sky Bet League Two.

Tiago Silva

Feirense to Nottingham Forest, Undisclosed

Nottingham Forest have added some creativity to the side with the acquisition of diminutive midfielder Tiago Silva from Feirense.

Silva provided eight assists for Feirense last season but it was not enough to prevent the club's relegation to the second tier. He has won five caps for Portugal Under-21s.

Mallik Wilks

Leeds to Barnsley, Undisclosed

Barnsley know all about Mallik Wilks, who starred while on loan at Doncaster in Sky Bet League One last season, scoring 14 league goals.

Wilks has pace to burn and, at 20, has plenty of scope to improve.

He looks a good signing for Barnsley and may go on to prove Leeds wrong.

Bradley Johnson

Derby to Blackburn, Free

Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray wants his team to continue their upward curve and the signing of experienced midfielder Bradley Johnson should help.

Johnson took a while to win over Derby boss Frank Lampard but he was a regular during the Rams' strong finish to the 2018-19 season and played every minute of their three playoff games.

He looks an intelligent addition to a youthful, talented Rovers squad.

Phil Jagielka

Everton to Sheffield United, Free

Sheffield United got off to a slow start in the summer transfer market but are making amends this week by sealing deals for Luke Freeman (from QPR) and out-of-contract defender Phil Jagielka.

Everton decided against handing a new contract to Jagielka, who has been a magnificent servant for them over the past 12 seasons.

He still looked a decent player on the rare occasions he featured last season and his vast experience should be big help to the Blades.

Kgosi Ntlhe

Rochdale to Scunthorpe, Free

Scunthorpe were relegated to Sky Bet League Two last season but they are ambitious to bounce straight back and have added a decent quality left-back, Kgosi Ntlhe, from Rochdale.

Ntlhe was a key player in Rochdale's successful League One survival push but has decided to take a step down the ladder.

His decision is a major boost for Scunny and a blow for Dale.

Jevani Brown

Cambridge to Colchester, Undisclosed

Colchester fell just short in their quest to reach the Sky Bet League Two playoffs last season and will be hoping the addition of winger Jevani Brown can give them some extra attacking impetus.

Brown has decent pace and is a match-winner on his good days but needs to add more consistency to his game.

Rodri

Atletico Madrid to Manchester City, £62.8 million

Manchester City needed a long-term replacement for Fernandinho and they have settled on Rodri, who has blossomed into one of the most promising holding midfielders in La Liga.

The 23-year-old has recently established himself in the Spanish national team and will hope to develop his game further under the watchful eye of Pep Guardiola.

Rodri is renowned as an excellent athlete with an eye for a pass and should slot seamlessly into the City starting side.

Ayoze Perez

Newcastle to Leicester, £30 million

Rafa Benitez got a huge amount of credit for Newcastle's mid-table finish last season and one of his biggest achievements was to take Ayoze Perez's game to a much higher level.

Perez scored 12 goals for the Magpies last season and six of those came in the final six weeks of the campaign.

The 25-year-old has great skil and has clearly worked on his movement and finishing.

However, he lacks a bit of power and pace and might struggle to justify his hefty price tag.

Dan Barlaser

Newcastle to Rotherham, loan

Dan Childs

Rotherham are trying to put together a promotion-winning squad and have made a step in the right direction by acquiring Newcastle midfielder Dan Barlaser on a season-long loan.

Barlaser brings plenty of energy and skill to the table and impressed while on loan at Accrington last term.

He scored just one league goal for Stanley and will be keen to make a bigger contribution for the Millers this season.

Tanguy Ndombele

Lyon to Tottenham, £53.8 million

Tottenham have not spent a penny in the last two transfer windows but they smashed their transfer record to acquire highly-rated France international Tanguy Ndombele, who has been attracting the attention of several big clubs.

Ndombele ticks a lot of boxes for Spurs because he is comfortable on the ball and has the power and pace demanded of modern-day midfielders.

He was the reported first-choice midfield target for Mauricio Pochettino, who identified him as the ideal replacement for Mousa Dembele.

Ethan Pinnock

Barnsley to Brentford, Undisclosed

Barnsley had the best defensive record in Sky Bet League One last season and a big part of that was central defender Ethan Pinnock, who featured in all 46 games and won the club's player of the season award.

His consistent performances caught the eye of Brentford, who have had a defensive hole to fill since selling Chris Mepham to Bournenouth in January.

Gabriel Martinelli

Ituano to Arsenal, Undisclosed

Arsenal made their first move of the summer by snapping up Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.

Martinelli is clearly rated highly by Brazil national team manager Tite, who called him up to train with the Copa America squad earlier this summer.

However, he has been playing club football in Sao Paulo's regional league system and will probably need some time to adjust to a much higher standard of football.

Ben Purrington

Rotherham to Charlton, Undisclosed

Left-back Ben Purrington impressed during a loan spell at Charlton last season and has returned to London after joining them in a permanent transfer from Rotherham.

Purrington equalised for Charlton in the Addicks' 2-1 success over Sunderland in last season's Sky Bet League One playoff final.

He never seemed to be fully appreciated by Rotherham but clearly has the support of Charlton gaffer Lee Bowyer.

Luke Freeman

QPR to Sheffield United, Undisclosed

Luke Freeman has caught the eye as one of the most technically gifted players in the Sky Bet Championship over the last few seasons.

Freeman blossomed after a switch from Bristol City to QPR in January 2017 and he will be sorely missed in West London.

However, he lacks pace and it will be interesting to see how he adapts to top-flight football.

Helder Costa

Wolves to Leeds, loan

Helder Costa was a key element of the Wolves team who won promotion from the Sky Bet Championship in 2017-18 and he looks an astute loan signing for Leeds, who are targeting the top two this term.

Costa wasn't getting many opportunities in the Premier League but his pace and trickery are sure to trouble second-tier defences.

Nicky Maynard

Bury to Mansfield, free

Liam Flin

English Football League regular Nicky Maynard helped Bury out of the fourth tier with his 21 league strikes last term and Mansfield will be hoping he can replicate those heroics for them after signing the forward on a free.

Maynard's pace may be dwindling now he is the wrong side of 30 but his finishing is exceptional and he should be able to plug the gap left by 22-goal forward Tyler Walker, who returned to parent club Nottingham Forest.

Matt Targett

Southampton to Aston Villa, undisclosed

Aston Villa have resisted the temptation of scattergun spending on Premier League veterans to bring in a promising youngster in Matt Targett but they will need more reinforcement to establish themselves in England's top flight once again.

Targett was a rotation player for the Saints last term and still has a lot to learn.

Mateo Kovacic

Real Madrid to Chelsea, £40 million

Liam Flin

Chelsea's transfer ban means they cannot add any more players to their squad before next season but at least they were able to make the loan signing of Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic permanent.

The Croatian had a pass completion rate of 92 per cent last season but needs to improve his impact in the final third, having laid on only two league assists. This is especially important in a midfield featuring Jorginho, who is often criticised for his lack of forward thinking.

Craig Dawson

West Brom to Watford, undisclosed

Signing a second-division defender is usually risky business for a Premier League side but at least Craig Dawson has top-flight experience.

The defender made 153 Premier League appearances for West Brom and Javi Gracia hopes that experience can help patch up a rearguard, who conceded 15 goals in their last four games of the 2018-19 campaign.

Adrien Rabiot

Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus, free transfer

Liam Flin

Juventus have developed the reputation of free-transfer kings, bringing in the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Fernando Llorente and Paul Pogba after their contracts expired over the years.

Adrien Rabiot has the potential to make a name for himself at the club but could find life tough in Turin to begin with.

Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic will be keen to cement their first-team spots, potentially leaving the Frenchman to tussle with former Gunner Aaron Ramsey for the box-to-box role in the Old Lady's three-man midfield.

Che Adams

Birmingham to Southampton, undisclosed

It is about time a player of Che Adams' quality made the step up to the Premier League after the forward made 123 appearances at St Andrew's in three years.

He can play on the flank or through the centre and has been a long-term target of Southampton, who tried to snap him up in January. The pacey forward made the Sky Bet Championship team of the season last term and should come on leaps and bounds under a coach like Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Danny Ings

Liverpool to Southampton, £20 million

Liam Flin

Danny Ings found opportunities hard to come by at Anfield since signing for Liverpool in 2015 and making last season's loan move to Southampton permanent looks like the right move for all involved.

He scored more than double the number of goals he did for the Reds (three) at Southampton last season (seven) and is the ideal candidate to profit from the various wide options the Saints have.

Diego Godin

Atletico Madrid to Inter, free transfer

Inter snapped up defender Godin on a three-year deal after he confirmed he would leave Atletico Madrid, having spent nine years at the club.

The Uruguayan enjoyed great success in the Spanish capital, helping the club to their first league title in 18 years, and he is expected to line up in a back three along with Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar.

While that young duo will provide their defence with pace, Godin will offer strength and physicality through the centre and can chip in with a goal at the other end, as shown by his 17 strikes for Atletico.
