Jesus Vallejo

Real Madrid to Wolves, loan

Wolves have had a quiet summer but are delighted to capture 22-year-old centre-back Jesus Vallejo on a season long loan.

Vallejo has featured in 12 La Liga games for Real Madrid and is a regular for Spain's Under-21's.

He captained the side to glory at the European Under-21 Championships this summer.

Marc Pugh

Bournemouth to QPR, free

Marc Pugh had become a peripheral figure at Bournemouth but was a regular for them in the Championship and his second tier experience should help him settle into life at Loftus Road.

The 32-year-old was involved in two promotions at Bournemouth and scored nine goals in 42 league games when they reached the Premier League in 2014-15.

Romaine Sawyers

Brentford to West Brom, undisclosed

Brentford reluctantly agreed to the sale of their captain, Romaine Sawyers, who had just one year left on his contract.

Sawyers was a vital cog in the Bees' midfield and made 127 league appearances over his three seasons at the club.

He looks a smart signing for West Brom, who released Gareth Barry at the end of last season.

Matty Stevens

Peterborough to Forest Green, undisclosed

Striker Matty Stevens made just four league appearances for Peterborough but will be hoping for more game time at Forest Green after signing permanently for the Gloucestershire side.

However, even League Two will feel like a step up for Stevens, who has played most of his football in the non league.

He showed a goalscoring touch while on loan at Kidderminster, netting 25 goals in 44 league appearances.

Marcus Browne

West Ham to Middlesbrough, undisclosed

Attacking midfielder Marcus Browne never made a Premier League appearance at West Ham but has an opportunity to shine in the Championship after joining Middlesbrough on a permanent deal.

Browne had a successful loan spell at Oxford last season, scoring nine goals in 44 matches for the League One side.

Alex Jakubiak

Watford to Gillingham, loan

Watford striker Alex Jakubiak is only 22 but makes his eighth loan move this summer by joining Gillingham for the 2019-20 campaign.

Jakubiak was capped twice for Scotland Under-19's but has a bit to prove after scoring just two goals in 38 league appearances for Bristol Rovers last season.

Ivan Sunjic

Dinamo Zagreb to Birmingham, undisclosed

Birmingham had a shaky start to the summer but have shown some ambition by snapping up Croatian international holding midfielder Ivan Sunjic.

The stated intention from Birmingham is to play a more attractive style and they will rely a lot on Sunjic to start their attacks.

Sunjic captained the Croatia Under-21's at this summer's European Championships and has featured once for the senior side.

Dean Henderson

Man Utd to Sheff Utd, loan

Dean Henderson played a crucial role in Sheffield United's promotion to the Premier League and returns to the Yorkshire club for another season long loan.

He has just signed a new three-year-contract at Manchester United but needs to bounce back from a shaky summer after making a poor error which contributed to England Under-21s elimination at the European Championships.

Ben Osborn

Nottingham Forest to Sheff Utd, undisclosed

Sheffield United are going to need all hands on deck if they are going to stay in the Premier League and have identified 24-year-old midfielder Ben Osborn as a player who can help their cause.

Osborn played 230 games for Forest, mainly in midfield and occasionally at left-back.

His versatility could come in handy although he faces a step up in class.

Dani Ceballos

Real Madrid to Arsenal, loan

Losing Aaron Ramsey was a major blow but Arsenal are hoping that Dani Ceballos can help fill the void.

Ceballos made 23 appearances in La Liga last season, including ten starts.

He has excellent vision and technical ability and was a key part of the Spanish Under-21 team who were crowned European champions this summer.

Douglas Luiz

Man City to Aston Villa, £15 million

Douglas Luiz failed to make a single Premier League appearance for Manchester City but has represented Brazil are various youth levels and is seen by Aston Villa as a good investment for the future.

The 21-year-old was part of the Brazil Under-21 team who won the Toulon Tournament this summer.

He is a midfielder, who spent the last two seasons on loan with La Liga side Girona.

George Dobson

Walsall to Sunderland, undisclosed

There were not to many positives for relegated Walsall last season but George Dobson has a strong campaign and caught the eye of Sunderland, who have snapped him up on a three-year-deal.

Dobson can play in central defence or midfield and will be looking to get back to the top having failed to make the grade at West Ham.

Mikael Mandron

Colchester to Gillingham, free

French forward Mikael Mandron made his professional debut for Sunderland in the Premier League but is now looking to climb back up the divisions.

Mandron signed up for National League side Eastleigh in 2016-17, scoring ten goals in 27 appearances.

He spent the last two years playing for Colchester in League Two and did enough to catch the eye of Gills boss Steve Evans, who snapped him up on a free transfer.

Ben Wilmot

Watford to Swansea, loan

Swansea have done well to clinch a loan deal for Ben Wilmot, who is equally comfortable in central defence or midfield.

Wilmot has impressed in League Cup matches for Watford and added to his education with a loan spell at Udinese last season.

He possesses the strength and poise to be a hit in the Championship.

Trezeguet

Kasimpasa to Aston Villa, £8.75 million

Aston Villa's summer spending spree continues with the capture of Trezeguet from Kasimpasa.

The Egyptian started his career as a striker but now likes to play slightly deeper, either centrally or out wide.

He fell out of favour at Anderlecht but excelled after moving to Turkey and had attracted interest from Inter and Slavia Prague before settling on a move to Villa Park.

Cameron Burgess

Scunthorpe to Salford, loan

Salford are looking to build a team to get promoted from League Two and have secured a loan deal Australian centre-back Cameron Burgess, who has spent the last two seasons playing in League One.

Burgess played 34 of 46 league games for Scunthorpe last term but was part of a porous defence. The Iron shipped 83 goals in 46 matches.

Jake Clarke-Salter

Chelsea to Birmingham, loan

Jake Clarke-Salter featured in all three England Under-21 matches at the European Championships this summer and his loan signing looks to be a coup for Birmingham, who were short of centre-backs.

The 21-year-old is comfortable on the ball and spent last season on loan with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

Jamie Lindsay

Ross County to Rotherham, undisclosed

Midfielder Jamie Lindsay helped Ross County to win promotion last season but has turned down the chance of playing in Scottish Premiership and signed a three-year-contract with Rotherham.

Lindsay began his career at Celtic but was allowed to move on without making a senior appearance.

He is an energetic midfielder with an eye for goal, netting nine times in the Scottish Championship last season.

Marc McNulty

Reading to Sunderland, loan

Sunderland wanted to add more options up front and have settled on Marc McNulty, who arrives on a season long loan from Reading.

McNulty struggled in the Championship, scoring once in 13 appearances, but had a decent loan spell with Hibernian earlier this year, netting seven times in 15 games.

He played third-tier football with Sheffield United where he scored ten goals in 36 appearances.

Jan Mlakar

Brighton to QPR, loan

QPR were desperately short of firepower and are delighted to have captured Slovenian striker Jan Mlakar on loan from Brighton.

Mlakar scored 13 goals for Slovenian side Maribor last season, helping them win their national championship.

He is highly-rated in his homeland and has scored six goals in 15 appearances for the Slovenia Under-21s.

Joelinton

Hoffenheim to Newcastle, undisclosed

Mike Ashley is never going to repair his relationship with Newcastle fans but he knows the importance of Premier League survival and sanctioned a big-money deal to bring Brazilian forward Joelinton to St James' Park.

Joelinton is a powerful, athletic centre-forward and is a direct replacement for Salomon Rondon, who was on loan from West Brom last season.

However, fans should not expect too much, too soon from the 22-year-old, who netted seven goals in 28 league appearances for Hoffenheim last season.

Darnell Furlong

QPR to West Brom, undisclosed

West Brom need athletic wing-backs to play in their favoured system and have decided that Darnell Furlong fits the bill.

Furlong, son of former Chelsea striker Paul, played right-back in a flat back four at QPR, so it will be interesting to see how he adapts.

Furlong suffered a knee injury last summer but battled back to reclaim a regular first team berth at Loftus Road.

Byron Moore

Bury to Plymouth, free

Plymouth have taken the greatest advantage of the financial meltdown at Bury and added a fifth former Shakers player by acquiring Byron Moore on a free transfer.

Argyle manager Ryan Lowe, another who swapped Gigg Lane for Home Park this summer, knows all about Moore, who can play anywhere across the front line.

Chris Cadden

Columbus Crew to Oxford, loan

Midfielder Chris Cadden joined Columbus Crew on a free transfer from Motherwell but has immediately been loaned out to Oxford, where he will stay until the 2020 MLS season commences next spring.

Cadden made a lot of progress at Motherwell and was capped twice for the Scotland senior team last year.

Christian Walton

Brighton to Blackburn, loan

Blackburn have been chasing a goalkeeper since selling David Raya to Brentford earlier in the window and have settled on loaning Christian Walton from Brighton.

Walton has spent the last two seasons on loan at Wigan – helping them win promotion from League One in 2017-18 and assisting their successful relegation battle last term.

He is a keeper with a big presence and featured once for the England Under-21s

Charlie Adam

Stoke to Reading, free

Charlie Adam had fallen down the pecking order at Stoke and will be hoping for more regular football after joining Reading.

The 33-year-old Scot's experience could be key for Reading, who have a lot of young players

However, there must be doubts over the fitness of Adam, who has not played more than 20 games in a season since 2016-17.

Dillon Barnes

Colchester to QPR, undisclosed

QPR are looking plenty of competition in the goalkeeping position and have identified 22-year-old Dillon Barnes as the right man to provide it.

The Hoops have already added Liam Kelly (signed from Livingston) to Joe Lumley, their first choice keeper from last season.

But they like what the see from Barnes, despite the 22-year-old featuring in just 22 of Colchester's 46 league games last term.

Daniel Iversen

Leicester to Rotherham, loan

Leicester goalkeeper Daniel Iversen spent the summer representing Denmark at the European Under-21 Championships but is still building his reputation in England and will spend the next nine months in the third tier.

Rotherham needed a new goalkeeper after the end of Marek Rodak's season long loan from Fulham.

And they settled on Iversen, who spent last season on a temporary deal at Oldham.

Deji Oshilaja

Wimbledon to Charlton, free

Charlton have a wafer-thin squad but are looking a bit more secure in the centre-back position with the addition of Deji Oshilaja from Wimbledon.

Oshilaja has been brought in to provide cover for Tom Lockyer and Naby Sarr, who are likely to be Charlton's starting central defenders.

He has good pace and strength and played a key role in helping Wimbledon to preserve Sky Bet League One status.
