Chalobah needs to prove his talent on return to Watford
Consistent Suttner should be a Seagulls starter
Nathaniel Chalobah Chelsea to Watford, undisclosed
Watford seem to have changed tack this summer by focusing more on young English talent and have snapped up a second England Under-21 international in three weeks by concluding a deal for Nathaniel Chalobah.
Vicarage Road is familiar territory for Chalobah, who joined the Hornets for a season-long loan in 2012-13 and made 42 appearances.
But Chalobah has seen far less action since and will be expected to play a key role in Hertfordshire, taking over from Valon Behrami as the first-choice holding midfielder.
Chalobah featured in all of the England Under-21s' four matches in Poland this summer but was struggling with an injury in the last two.
The 22-year-old is a talented player with an athletic physique and a sound passing range but only time will tell if he can make the transition from bit-part player to first-team regular.
Verdict
Must get used to regular football.
Markus Suttner Ingolstadt to Brighton, undisclosed
Brighton have raided Ingolstadt for a second time this summer by snapping up Austrian international left-back Markus Suttner.
The Seagulls had problems at left-back last season with Gaeten Bong, their first-choice player for the position, struggling with injuries.
Suttner was one of the more consistent players for Ingolstadt last term featuring in 31 of their 34 league games.
However, Ingolstadt finished the season in the Bundesliga drop zone and Suttner will be hoping to avoid a similar experience on the south coast.
Verdict
Should go straight into starting line-up.
Ezgjan Alioski Lugano to Leeds, undisclosed
Leeds are desperate to take some of the goalscoring burden off of their star striker Chris Wood and will hope to have done just that by snapping up Macedonian international attacker Ezgjan Alioski from Lugano.
Alioski has a breakthrough season last term, scoring 16 goals in 34 games for Lugano, who finished third in the Swiss top flight.
However, five of those goals were penalties and Alioski may need time to adjust to the fast and physical nature of Sky Bet Championship football.
Alioski will be looking to continue his goalscoring habit but can also turn provider.
He registered 14 assists in the Swiss league last term, which put him third in the division.
Verdict
Should shine once he has settled in.
Martin Braithwaite Toulouse to Middlesbrough, undisclosed
Middlesbrough have snapped up a Danish attacker for the second successive summer and will be hoping their latest acquisition, Martin Braithwaite, fares much better than Viktor Fischer.
There were high hopes for Fischer but he failed to score in 13 Premier League appearances and was transferred to Mainz last month.
Braithwaite looks less of a risk. He has not fully established himself at international level but had a positive four seasons in France, scoring 35 goals in 136 games for Toulouse.
Capable of playing up front or out wide, the pacy Braithwaite looks well suited to Championship football.
Verdict
Can make an immediate impact.
James Vaughan Bury to Sunderland, £900,000
Sunderland lost a lot of goals when Jermain Defoe decided against extending his contract and they hope to replace some of them with the capture of James Vaughan from Bury.
Vaughan's career looked to be going backwards when he was released by Birmingham last summer.
However, the 29-year-old was superb for the Shakers, scoring 24 league goals and playing a huge role in keeping them out of the Sky Bet League One drop zone.
He has struggled with injuries in the past but if those days are behind him he is capable of scoring goals in the second tier.
Verdict
A great signing unless injuries return.
