Match preview

Espanyol are unbeaten in three matches since the winter break and have given themselves a chance of staying up.

They won their last away game against Villarreal and have had come from behind to draw with Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao.

A trip to Granada could present another opportunity for Espanyol to pick up points.

The hosts had a great start but have struggled in recent weeks albeit having faced some top sides.

Granada had to go to extra-time in the Copa del Rey in midweek before coming through 3-2 against third-tier Badajoz. There is unlikely to be much between these teams.

Key stat

Granada are looking for their first league double over Espanyol having won 3-0 in September.

Mallorca v Real Valladolid

Where to watch

LaLiga TV, 5.30pm Saturday

Best bet

Mallorca

Match preview

Two out-of-form sides collide with Mallorca and Valladolid both looking to put daylight between themselves and the La Liga relegation zone.

The visitors are clear of trouble for now but have gone ten games without a win since beating Mallorca 3-0 in November.

Mallorca thrashed Valencia 4-1 in their last home outing. Croatian striker Ante Budimir scored twice in that game and could prove key to Mallorca staying up.

They can make it back-to-back wins and drag Valladolid into trouble.

Key stat

Valladolid have not won away since the opening day of the season.

Valencia v Celta Vigo

Where to watch

LaLiga TV, 8pm Saturday

Match preview

Valencia's 2-0 win over Barcelona last week was the perfect response to their woeful 4-1 defeat against Mallorca.

That result was rather out of context with Valencia's form which now stands at one defeat in their last seven matches.

They survived a scare in the Copa Del Rey, though, needing penalties to knock out Cultural Leonesa, and they may have to patient against struggling Celta Vigo.

Former Watford manager Oscar Garcia has seen his side draw their last three games with the 0-0 draw to Eibar a missed opportunity to move out of the bottom three.

They are likely to make things difficult for Valencia but the home side should take the points.

Key stat

Valencia are unbeaten at home since a 1-0 defeat to Eibar in April.
