Club Brugge v Aarhus

Club Brugge made it to the last 16 of last season's Champions League, advancing through a group which included Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid, so the Belgians are expected to be too strong for Danish side Aarhus at the Jan Breydelstadion.

FC Twente v Hammarby

After finishing fifth in last season's Eredivisie, things are looking up for FC Twente and they can outclass Swedish side Hammarby on home soil. The visitors are only ninth in the Allsvenskan and have won just one of their last 11 away games.

NK Celje v Vitoria Guimaraes

Vitoria Guimaraes finished sixth in Portugal's Primeira Liga last season and that is a far stronger division than the Slovenian top flight where NK Celje ply their trade. Guimaraes fell victim to Hajduk Split in qualifying last term but should be strong enough to claim a first leg-lead in this one.

Hapoel Beer Sheva v Panevezys

Hapoel Beer Sheva showed how dangerous they can be in last season's Europa Conference League when holding Villarreal and Lech Poznan and defeating Austria Vienna in the main draw of the competition. At home, it would be underwhelming if they didn't find a way past Lithuania's Panevezys.
