Expect no backing off from either team at the Riazor, where goals are definitely on the cards.

And expect Deportivo to get up given that Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella has problems up front and is promising changes elsewhere.

Sevilla head north having suffered a six-game winless run, a sequence that isn't quite as bad as it looks given that two of those games were against Bayern Munich.

But they cannot keep a clean sheet for love nor money and are understandably starting to fade considering they've already played 52 matches this season.

How Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions

Montella has seen that and needs to ensure his team are at their freshest for Saturday's Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

Top scorer Luis Muriel is injured, his sometime partner Wissam Ben Yedder suspended, and others will be given a breather before the final.

That plays into the hands of Deportivo, who have suddenly sprung to life in their relegation plight.

There have been signs of improvement under Clarence Seedorf, who was appointed in February – it's just that the results weren't always there.

Now, however, back-to-back 3-2 wins over Malaga and Athletic have filled them with self-belief.

Deportivo cannot let off the gas in their quest to catch Levante, while Sevilla also need to be positive in pursuit of a top-six finish. They have dropped to seventh place.
