Sky Bet Championship betting latest: West Brom eye Chris Hughton

Chris Hughton could be set for a swift return to management with West Brom reportedly interested in talking to the former Brighton manager.

The Baggies are looking to regroup after an agonising penalty shootout defeat to Aston Villa in the Sky Bet Championship playoff semi-finals and they may turn to Hughton, who was sacked by Brighton earlier this week.

James Shan was appointed as West Brom's caretaker manager in March, replacing Darren Moore, but he may not get the job on a permanent basis.

Hughton's managerial CV includes promotions with Newcastle in 2010 and Brighton in 2017 and he is Paddy Power's 4-7 favourite to be the next permanent West Brom manager.

Lincoln's Danny Cowley is an 11-2 chance and Shan is 7-1 to get the job long-term.
