Harry Kane marked his return from injury with a goal for Tottenham at Turf Moor but 19-4 shots Burnley ran out 2-1 winners to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

The Clarets, who are 14-1 for relegation, opened the scoring through Chris Wood early in the second half before Kane, who had not played since January 13, levelled only for Ashley Barnes to snatch the winning goal seven minutes from time.

Mauricio Pochettino confronted referee Mike Dean at the end of the match, believing the corner that led to Burnley's opener should not have been given.

Tottenham are still as short as 1-7 to land a top-four berth.

Huddersfield had Tommy Smith sent off in their 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, with the Terriers and the Magpies now quoted at 1-100 and 14-1 for the drop.

Bournemouth and Wolves drew 1-1 in the other 3pm kick-off.

Claude Puel is 7-4 with Sky Bet to become the next Premier League manager to be sacked after his Leicester side suffered a 4-1 thrashing at home to Crystal Palace.

The Foxes failed to make the most of their 27 shots in the match as a goal from Michy Batshuayi, Wilfried Zaha's brace and Luka Milivojevic's penalty handed Palace maximum points. The Eagles are 75-1 to go down.
