Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce: UK start time and where to watch on TV and live stream

This heavyweight clash is scheduled to start at approximately 10.30pm. The card will begin at 7pm and is being broadcast live in the UK on BT Sport 1. It will be available to watch on ESPN+ in the US.

Odds and best bets

Undefeated Daniel Dubois is a worthy favourite for this fight and is as short as 2-9 in places, Joe Joyce is generally top price at 3-1 and the draw is available to back at 28-1.

Dubois has achieved 14 knockouts in his 15-fight professional career and is 1-2 to gain another win via KO, TKO or DQ, but the better value is in him stopping Joyce in the first half of the fight.

Dubois to win in rounds one to six is a top-price 7-5 with Paddy Power, while wins for 'Dynamite' Dubois in rounds four, five and six are most fancied at around 10-1.

The durable Joyce won on points against Bryant Jennings last year and is generally 15-2 to win by decision or technical decision in the 12-round fight.

Big-fight preview: Daniel Dubois v Joe Joyce

After a number of postponements one of the most eagerly awaited domestic fights in recent years takes place at Church House in Westminster on Saturday night and fireworks are expected.

23-year-old undefeated Daniel 'Dynamite' Dubois is an outstanding heavyweight prospect with heavy hands. He is the favourite here and can gain a fifteenth knockout in his sixteenth professional fight.

His opponent, former Olympian Joe Joyce, enjoyed a highly decorated amateur career that included a silver medal for Team GB at the 2016 Olympics, whereas Dubois opted out of a certain place on the team for the 2020 Olympics back in 2017 in favour of signing with Frank Warren's Queensbury Promotions and turning professional.

Joyce steps through the ropes with comfortably more experience, particularly of big occasions, and should this fight go deep, that experience may be a factor in the later rounds.

But Dubois won't be lacking in technique or belief. He was well schooled at the renowned Peacock Gym in East London, is sound technically and will look to set his stall out early behind his stiff and brutal left jab.

His right hand is the main weapon and at times he will be able to detonate at will on Joyce, whose fighting style is to step forward and absorb punishment to get to his man.

While fighting Bryant Jennings last year, Joyce was noticeably hurt to the body with a left hook in the first round, which could be significant here as that is a shot Dubois loves to throw and digs it in with immense power and accuracy.

The relentless pressing but open style of fighting that Joyce is known for could also be his undoing in this fight. Dubois is expected to get through to the Putney-born fighter and break him down, a stoppage in the early-middle rounds looks on the cards.

Best bet

Daniel Dubois to win in rounds four to six
3-1 general

Undercard

The undercard is very lopsided and there are short-priced favourites throughout, who are all expected to win.

WBO light-welterweight mandatory challenger Jack Catterall has stepped aside so that champions Josh Taylor and Jose Ramirez can set up an undisputed fight at 140lbs early next year. He features and should prove far too good for Abderrazak Houya.

The WBO European super-welterweight title is on the line in the chief support fight, in which it will be a shock if undefeated 1-20 favourite Hamzah Sheeraz doesn't beat 33-year-old Argentinian Guido Nicolas Pitto.
