Robbie Wilders' play of the day at Wolverhampton

Lord Rapscallion

6.00 Wolverhampton

Lord Rapscallion landed a bit of a punt for connections at Lingfield last month and looks well up to following up in the 7f handicap (6.00) at Wolverhampton.

The nine-year-old was backed into an SP of 3-1 from 6-1 on the show and did well to win so easily, given he was racing from three or four wide for most of the journey around that tight-turning track when drawn in the outside stall.

The selection is up 7lb in the weights, but remains superbly treated on form (has won off 20lb higher) and has a nicer berth in stall three this time.

The Lingfield form is looking red-hot, with the fourth, eighth and ninth all winning next time at odds of 4-1, 9-2 and 6-1.

It's hard to imagine Lord Rapscallion being inconvenienced by the switch from Polytrack to Tapeta (ran to an RPR of 99 on his sole Wolverhampton visit) and this looks a golden chance of doubling up.
