'Worth an ante-post tickle' - our experts assess Lucky Vega's Classic claims
Where do you rank Lucky Vega in the 2,000 Guineas picture?
That was a clear personal best from Lucky Vega, who travelled into the race like a smart colt and looked a push-button ride for jockey Shane Foley. However, the form of the race may not work out as well as everyone expects and I still think he has plenty on his plate against the likes of Battleground, Master Of The Seas and Tactical. The step up to a mile shouldn't be a problem for Lucky Vega, though, as he hit the line powerfully. I think 16-1 is a fair price at this stage, although it's not big enough to warrant an ante-post bet.
