Willie Mullins hits form ahead of Al Boum Photo's return
Burrows Saint, who won the race in which Sizing John fell, was the second leg of a double on the day for Willie Mullins as he warms up for the reappearance of Gold Cup winner Al Boum Photo at Tramore on New Year's Day.
It was also a double for owners Rich and Susanna Ricci after
Salsaretta made it two from two in a well-contested mares' chase.
Paul Townend gave the daughter of Kingsalsa a confident ride and she repaid it with a convincing three-and-a-quarter length success over the tough and consistent Agusta Gold.
The form of Oliver McKiernan's charges was shown in a good light too as Mister Eddman ran out a convincing winner of the 2m3½f handicap hurdle in the hands of Barry Browne. It was a third winner in three days for the stable.
