Frankie Dettori has been promised a special panama hat by Goodwood to mark 30 years since his first winner at the course, and in Britain.
The anniversary falls next month and, now aged 46, Dettori is showing no signs of slowing down as he smashed the track record on Khalidi in the Cocked Hat Stakes.
A date in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot is next up for John Gosden-trained winner after he trimmed 0.23 seconds off the benchmark set by Asian Heights in 2001.
