The participation of Love in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes has been one of the great ‘will she won’t she?’ talking points in the run-up to Royal Ascot and it’s great to see last year’s outstanding 1,000 Guineas and Oaks winner declared for her first start since August.
On her best form she is 1lb ahead of her rivals here, but she will need to produce her peak performance to make a winning return and that’s a big ask given she hasn’t run for 300 days.
