There are four types of punter, so which is most likely to become a pro like me?
Just over a month ago I joined Twitter. I had been warned by friends that this was a foolish thing to do as, apparently, it was a place where people scream abuse at each other and, if I didn't have anything to sell (which I didn't), there was not a lot to be gained. I ignored the advice and threw myself in anyway.
My approach was to tweet about the things I had learned in 28 years of studying form and betting on horses professionally. Prior to starting out in this 'occupation' I'd failed at most things.
I was a useless assistant trainer (too immature) to my father Richard Holder, a failed amateur jockey (not brave enough), a failed salesman (see reason for failed assistant trainer), a failed poker player (see reason for failed jockey) and a failed husband (I've no idea, make up your own mind).
