Ken Condon eyeing another Jacques le Marois victory with crack miler Romanised
Romanised confirmed his status as one of Europe's elite milers last season when landing the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville, and trainer Ken Condon is building his stable star's season around a repeat Group 1 bid this August.
The trainer has opted to bypass the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot with uncertainty surrounding international travel, and the former Irish 2,000 Guineas hero is instead set to make his seasonal bow on home soil.
Owner Robert Ng's bold decision to keep the son of Holy Roman Emperor in training as a five-year-old was welcomed by Condon, with an exciting campaign in store.
