The Classics are drawing ever closer and after another busy week of action, including trials at Newbury, here are ten quotes that could give us clues . . .

He's a bigger horse than Camelot and I think he has more pace, so that would give you hope going for a Guineas. We'll have to wait and see what Newmarket tells us but we hope he's a Derby horse too.

She's a lovely relaxed filly with a good mind and she has an unbelievable pedigree. I had been thinking about the Irish 1,000 Guineas but I'm more leaning towards her being an Oaks filly now.
O'Brien is also pondering a new direction for his exciting filly Tuesday

He's had four runs and will probably be put away for the Derby. We're a long way out and he gets an entry after winning, but there's lots of water to be crossed.

We are leaning towards Newmarket, if she were to stay here the problem is that she's never run right-handed, while the owners would like to go for the Guineas.

She's a huge filly and we've always loved her. She was still quite raw when she won her maiden at Leopardstown and she'll go next to Naas for the Blue Wind Stakes, which will really tell us where we are with her. We'd hope she could be in the conversation for the Oaks after that.

He's come to us having finished fourth in the Vertem Futurity for Brian Meehan last year. He'll start off in the Tetrarch Stakes at the Curragh and is entered in both Derbys. We like what we've seen from him so far.
O'Brien has also been suitably impressed by Hannibal Barca, who joined the yard after finishing fourth in the Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes for Brian Meehan

He nearly went into the Dewhurst unbeaten and he's a smart colt. He doesn't have to find much to be dining at the top table and we've got Guineas aspirations for him.
Roger Varian is hoping one of last year's leading juveniles, Bayside Boy, could be the horse to win him his first 2,000 Guineas

The team will make a decision and she'll have plenty of options. Any of the Guineas races would naturally be under strong consideration. The horses are running really well and long may that continue.

Jockey William Buick has enjoyed a lightning start to the season and Wild Beauty threw her hat into the 1,000 Guineas ring in the Fred Darling Stakes

You have to let them run first time but I'm sure the Oaks will be considered. It's a good maiden and she's put herself in the picture.
Buick was also impressed with Life Of Dreams, who he believes could be a live Oaks contender following her debut success
