Footpad has had an excellent season and we're hoping he can round it off by landing a fourth Grade 1 success in Thursday's Ryanair Novice Chase (6.40).

He was very impressive in the Racing Post Arkle at Cheltenham last month and if he repeats that performance then you'd have to think that would be good enough.

Daryl Jacob, who rode him to win on his debut over fences at Navan, is back on board today for Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, who retain him.
