Billesdon Brook may have been a shock winner of the Qipco 1,000 Guineas, but with the three form fillies chasing her home there seems no fluke about her success.
Unlikely as it seems, she looks to have improved by a stone to record a Racing Post Rating of 115, a figure that rates her just shy of the average Guineas winner.
In reversing Nell Gwyn form with Soliloquy and Altyn Orda, and also last year's May Hill form with Laurens, this was clearly a much-improved display from Billesdon Brook.
