Who can beat Enable? Potential Godolphin star Ghaiyyath out to spoil party
Godolphin pair William Buick and Charlie Appleby appear to have a potential superstar on their hands in exciting juvenile Pinatubo, but the lightly raced and largely unheralded Ghaiyyath showed why he might also be something special when storming home in last month's Grosser Preis von Baden.
The normally measured Buick was moved to described the son of Dubawi, who is out of Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Nightime, as an "absolute monster" after his 14-length victory – a performance that means he is now the second-best horse on the planet behind a certain Enable.
Strengths
The four-year-old possesses a big engine and it is one that helped him record a career-best in Germany last time.
