Who can beat Enable? French Derby winner Sottsass takes aim for home team

After a light juvenile campaign, Sottsass has gone from strength to strength this season and the betting indicates the Jean-Claude Rouget-trained three-year-old represents the home team's biggest threat to Enable in Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

Since finishing fifth at Longchamp in April's Group 3 Prix la Force, Sottsass has won his following three races, beginning with a rousing performance in a Listed race at Chantilly as he demolished the field by six and a half lengths.

He put the racing world on notice in June when kicking on under Cristian Demuro to win the Prix du Jockey Club ahead of the well-fancied Persian King.
