This summer has been full of sweet moments for Peter Fahey and his team – and breakfast rolls, lots and lots of breakfast rolls.

Something that started as a bit of fun a few years back at Roefield House Stables in Monasterevin, County Kildare, breakfast is on the boss every morning after the yard sends out a winner.

The local deli has been quids in this summer as Fahey has regularly been hitting the target and no horse has picked up the tab more than Peregrine Run, a 15-time victor bidding for a remarkable sixth straight success when he lines up in Wednesday’s thetote.com Galway Plate.
