Lots to be excited about for the remainder of the carnival

We’ve had a Meydan runner more or less every week since the carnival began but, with nothing representing us on Thursday, I’ll get a chance to play a bit more golf than I usually get to.

There was plenty of encouragement to be taken from the runs Freescape and Alfredo Arcano posted last Thursday and I’d be quietly confident that both horses can build on that on their next starts.

Freescape settled well, which was great to see, and he finished his race off really strongly to finish third over 7f. He’s come out of it really well and we’re thinking about running him in a mile handicap next week.
