Magical's season might not be over yet as Aidan O'Brien has said there is a strong possibility she could contest the Hong Kong Cup at Sha Tin early next month after her brave effort in the Breeders' Cup Turf.

The star mare was unable to repel Tarnawa's late charge down the outside in the Breeders' Cup Turf, but battled bravely to take second on a memorable night for O'Brien who saddled the 1-2-3 in the Breeders' Cup Mile with Order Of Australia, who returned at 73-1 Stateside, leading home better-fancied stablemates Circus Maximus and Lope Y Fernandez.

O'Brien said: "Magical is entered up in Hong Kong and there's a possibility she could go there. We'll see how she comes out of the race on Saturday, but she could go to Hong Kong."
