'It'd be incredibly special' - Blackmore buzzing as she seeks consecutive wins

A year on from making history by becoming the first female jockey to win the Grand National, Rachael Blackmore returns to Aintree in pursuit of another seismic slice of sporting greatness.

Blackmore smashed through the highest of glass ceilings last year with a victory on Minella Times that stunned the world and inspired the next generation of riders.

The pair are back bidding to repeat a feat which led to Blackmore receiving multiple accolades from inside and outside of racing, including the World Sport Star title at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards – in an Olympic year no less.
