5.15 Aintree Saturday: Randox Grand National racecard and betting
Harry Redknapp
Former football manager and owner
Any Second Now was badly hampered last year for Ted Walsh, who is a brilliant horseman, and he has a solid chance again after winning his prep race in the Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse.
Ray Parlour
Former footballer-turned-pundit
I’ll be having a few quid on Delta Work to win. I was impressed with him when he beat Tiger Roll at Cheltenham. He's got a lot of weight, which is a bit of a problem, but I like his chances.
Robert Bathurst
Actor, Cold Feet and Downton Abbey
Freewheelin Dylan each-way. The Irish Grand National winner is overlooked, but he’s proved himself as a hard nugget for the big occasion.
Ed Chamberlin
ITV racing lead presenter
Fiddlerontheroof has got a bit of class as a Tolworth Hurdle winner, and he looked a potential National horse when a running-on second in the Ladbrokes Trophy. He didn't jump particularly well at Ascot but he looked as though stamina could be his forte and I hope he takes to the fences.
Barry Geraghty
Grand National-winning jockey
Commodore produced a career-best effort last time and he jumps well. I think he's the right sort for the race.
'She's entitled to be the price she is' – Coleman excited by Leopardess
Richard Hoiles
ITV Commentator
Any Second Nowwas unlucky last year and he has fewer question marks than most, especially regarding stamina, though there is a worry he's a shade too high in the weights.
John Inverdale
Sports broadcaster
Run Wild Fred. There's always a story at the National and this could be his trainer's moment of redemption. I've always been a huge fan of Davy Russell and, most importantly, it's a great name.
Mark Johnson
ITV commentator
Snow Leopardess. I was really impressed when I called her home to win the Becher, she jumped like a bunny. And her forward racing style suits a modern National.
Conor McGinn MP
Co-chair, All-party Parliamentary racing group
Fiddlerontheroof has been targeted at the race, is running off a good mark and seems ideally prepared. I backed him each-way at 33-1.
Paul Nicholls
Grand National-winning trainer
If I was throwing a tenner at one it would definitely be Delta Work.

Gary O'Brien
Racing TV presenter and 5 live Grand National commentator
Longhouse Poetlooks to be an ideal type for the race in that he was Grade 1 standard over hurdles, he's unexposed over fences and he won the Thyestes – a race often used as a stepping stone to Aintree.
Derek Thompson
TV presenter
. There have only been three grey winners and no mare has won since 1951 but she looks tailor-made for the race, Charlie Longsdon is a superb trainer and she has an outstanding chance in the most open National for years.
