There was no breaking of hearts by Buildmeupbuttercup as the banker of the day three at Galway duly obliged in the manner expected to give Patrick Mullins his sixth win in the maiden for amateur riders.

The winning jockey admitted that his latest victory in the race was his easiest and it was hard to argue as the Ascot Stakes runner-up won as easily as all 1-2 favourites should.

"That was definitely the easiest of the six anyway," said Mullins after he nudged Buildmeupbuttercup to a four-and-a-half length victory over Run For Mary.
